Waterloo Tech Week is a decentralized collection of events celebrating the region's innovation, talent, and tech community. It's a week of independently hosted events that showcase what makes Waterloo a global leader in technology and entrepreneurship.

Across Waterloo! Events are hosted at different venues all throughout the city.
When is it happening?
Join us for our Kickoff Event on September 11, then enjoy six days of community-led talks, demos, panels, meetups, and more from September 12–17, 2026.
How do I host at WTW?
Have an idea for an event? Start planning! Once you’ve got a concrete concept, submit it: New Event Proposal
It doesn’t need to be fully planned or finalized—we’ll get in touch to help you bring it to Waterloo Tech Week.
Who can host an event?
